Apartment Layout

Your apartment can be what you want it to be. We have efficiency, studio, one bedroom, two bedroom/two bath, and one bedroom/two bath/greatroom apartments from which to choose. Private patios or sundecks adjoin every apartment, except for the efficiency suites. Apartments also include:

· Carpeting throughout

· Emergency call systems in each bedroom and bathroom

· Generous, lighted closets

· TV antenna hookup to central antenna

Cable and telephone (to be paid for separately)

Each apartment also includes:

A kitchen with easy-to-reach cabinets, stainless steel sink, garbage disposal, refrigerator/freezer and electric stove.
Individually controlled heat and air conditioning units, and separate hot water heaters for each apartment
Full bathrooms with vanity, tub or shower enclosure equipped with assist bars.
Smoke detectors and sprinkler systems

Sitting Room

The main building at Lake St. Charles Retirement Community includes our beautiful, and inviting sitting room/lobby that affords a view of our lake. And the
upper entryway to the lobby has a magnificent mural of historic St. Charles designed especially for us by a professional artist. Both of these features help make LSCRC a wonderful place to live!

Fine Dining

Even though your apartment will have its own kitchen, you need not cook everyday. We offer three meals a day, seven days a week.
	You also have a choice of meal plans, prepared at the direction of our professional chef, and served in our fine dining room. Ala carte is also available, as well as “late” breakfast and “late” lunch. Guests are always welcome for a nominal charge. Please contact us for more information about pricing.

Recreation Areas

There are many special activity rooms at Lake St. Charles. These rooms, which are centrally located and tastefully decorated, are available for use anytime. Our activity rooms feature TV, VCR, piano, organ, card and game tables, billiard table, dartboard, and a library. We also have a fully stocked lake for fishing. If you have a green thumb, you can take advantage of our gardening areas.
The patio, deck/sun area, and covered pavilion are available for relaxation. But, if you want to get the energy surging, you can visit our exercise room. As you can see, if you can think of it, we probably have it!

Outer Grounds

Outer grounds include our beautiful outer courtyard area with trees, grassy slopes, plenty of sunshine. And of course what would Lake St. Charles be without a beautiful crisp lake that is always fully stocked with fish. Even for non-fishermen, the lake is a pleasure.
