Meet The Team

Meet our leadership team! As apart of the NHC team, it is important to showcase the Better Way. The Better Way is NHC's philosophy of care which raises the bar of excellence. It is based upon 20 promises that NHC has set forth for our partners to achieve everyday. Part of the Better Way is to have each partner write a purpose statement. Samantha Davis, Administrator — Independent Living Services in Saint Charles, MO

Samantha Davis, Administrator, Executive Director

Hello, I’m Samantha Davis the Administrator of Lake St Charles. I have 20 years experience with NHC, and have a tremendous respect for the residents we serve! I am licensed by the Department of Health & Senior Services as well as I’m a member of the Missouri Assisted Living Association. You will find that I like to get involved and dig into every aspect of Lake St Charles. My door is always open, but I may be out and about. I really enjoy the residents and their families. I also enjoy new ideas, and listening to our customers feedback! If you are not familiar with our Community, please always know the invitation is open. I’m so proud of the remarkable staff and overall program we offer here at Lake St Charles.

Kasie Sigmund, Community Coordinator

When you walk into the building, I am one of the first people you see. I am always happy to show you around our community or share information with you! My goal is to help you choose the best apartment for your individual lifestyle. I have been working with seniors for 9 years and love developing relationships with residents and their families!

I’ve been working in the senior living industry for over 5 years, and I’m proud to call St. Charles home my entire life. What I love most about working with seniors is getting to know each person beyond their day-to-day needs. I genuinely enjoy hearing their stories, learning about their lives and experiences, and building meaningful relationships with them. I believe every resident deserves to feel valued, respected, supported, and truly cared for—just like family. I’m excited to bring that passion for helping others to Lake St. Charles Senior Living and to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents and their families.

Kierstin Beal, Assistant Administrator

In my role, I am dedicated to helping all staff across every department in whatever way they need me! I began my career at Lake St. Charles as a Dining Room Server, then I had a summer internship while I was in college. That opportunity has now led me to this role! I am beyond grateful to make connections with the residents here, and I look forward to continuing my career and education in Senior Living!

Lisa Doeren, Director of Bookkeeping

I have been working at Lake St. Charles for over 5 years, beginning as the receptionist at the front desk and managing the day-to-day business office. I enjoy making sure everything runs smoothly, from billing and paperwork to helping residents and families. My team of receptionists are here to help 24/7 for any needs that you may have. I am grateful to be part of a team that makes our community feel like home!

Brenden Sullivan, Director of Maintenance

I provide exceptional skilled maintenance as well as building relationships with the residents at our facility. I genuinely love providing for our residents and take pride in knowing I am making their life easier and more comfortable along with building long lasting relationships with them like a second family. The residents know that they can always rely and call on me if there is something they are needing in some cases even moral support for the harder days.

Jody Rudy, Director of Housekeeping

I have been with Lake St. Charles for 10 years! I have a fabulous team that I work alongside of to keep our residents living space clean. What I love most about my job is getting to build relationships with residents during our weekly visits! They are full of wisdom and stories that make going to work everyday an exciting adventure!

Megan Tintera, Director of Nursing

Throughout the 16 years of my nursing career, I have primarily focused on working with older adults. As the Director of Nursing, I mainly oversee our Assisted Living residents. I love getting to provide direct care for my residents. A big part of my job is also communicating with families, after all, our residents families know them best! Being able to walk this journey as a team is what makes my job so special.

Tressie Spears, Director of Wellness, ADON

I have 24 years of experience in Nursing with NHC. Our Wellness Program offers additional services to allow our residents the opportunity to remain as independent as possible. Being able to assist our residents and families as they navigate this walk of life is why I love my job so much!

Maggie Spaeth, Assistant Director of Nursing

I have worked in healthcare for almost 14 years. I love being able to serve the needs of those around me to help them be the best and healthiest they can be. It is important to me that our residents feel confident in the care provided by myself and our partners here at Lake St. Charles. I am committed and have an unconditional willingness to always meet their needs to the best of my ability.

Melissa Wright, Food Service

With 15 years of food service experience you could say I love what I do! We are here to serve 365 days a year! We have a wide variety of options on our menu along with daily specials. You can't go wrong with our homemade soups but make sure to always save room for dessert. I love putting on events for our residents, their families, and our community!

Chris Brown, Director of Recreation

Madison Stough, Assistant Director of Recreation

Chris has been with Lake St. Charles for 19 years bringing all of the fun to Recreation on our Independent Living side. Madison has been with Lake St. Charles for 6 years.

We are working hard to keep our residents thriving! Not only do we like to have fun but we do our best to create a wide variety of activities to achieve holistic wellness for all of our residents! We love getting out in the community and bringing the community into our building!
